She shocked Bollywood and everyone who love her when she revealed about her darkest experiences in her childhood. In a news channel interview, she said that she was sexually assaulted when she was a child. However, she revealed that it was not her intension to declare about such event of her life to the world. It became a “sensational headline” for the media. But for someone who has faced child sexual abuse (CSA) must not be a headline.

The world-famous Sitar player was also sexually assaulted as a child. The daughter of Ravi Shankar, who is a legendary sitar player, Anoushka Shankar confessed about that event in her childhood at a video release for women’s rights campaign. She revealed that her family friend sexually abused her in childhood.

The British-born model, actress and singer, Sofia Hayat has also worked on some Indian projects, along with British ones. She revealed that she also had a depressing childhood. She shared about her experience and had gone on record. According to the actress, her uncle abused her when she was just 10 years old.

Ex-Bollywood actress and Pakistan-based girl, Somi Ali revealed about her childhood and her gloomy experience when she was sexually assaulted at the age of 5 years. The ex-girlfriend of Salman Khan told about her experience. When she was a child, she was molested and she faced domestic violence in Pakistan. She shares about this darkest experience whenever she visits universities in the United States and encourages the students to stop this thing and avoid feeling ashamed.

Famous filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap has also been molested as a child. When he was a child, he was sexually assaulted for around 11 consequent years. Shocking, isn’t?  In an interview, he reveals that he had forgiven the pervert who brutally abused him. He met him after several years. He was around 22 years old when he abused Anurag. But when Anurag met him, he was already guilt-ridden. So, he decided to move on and forget the whole nightmare.

We know she is not from Bollywood but her story is really very shocking and traumatic. According to her, she was raped when she was 19 years old. On a radio show of Howard Stern, the songwriter added that her track “Swine” is about demoralization and rape. She underwent some terrible things in her life but she overcame them because she joined several therapy sessions across the years. She studied in Catholic School at the age of 19. A music director, who was 20 years older to her, raped her so brutally that she was paralyzed and had fear on seeing him. To cope up with the trauma, it took around 4 to 5 years for her.
