Is it possible to convert tourist visa into student visa in Canada?

The tourist visa allows you to stay for up to six months in Canada. So if you are planning to enroll in the courses of shorter duration you don’t need to apply for a study permit. Most common cases are of the students opting for language courses that lasts for up to 6 months.
