2. Choose the smartest route to reach Kasol from Pune
Distance to Kasol from Pune is near to 1500 kilometres. So, you can understand that it is a long distance trip. The cheapest route between the two locations is a train from Pune till Jaisinghpur and a cab till Kasol from there. Time taken in this trip is near to 36 hours. If you are looking for a smarter journey, you can cover the trip within 10 hours, although you will have to spend much more. Take a flight to Kulu or Dharamsala and catch hold of a cab from there. It is the smartest route for the trip, but never make a mistake to get there through Delhi. You will have to spend more and the journey will be longer too.
3. Look at time and money both while going to Kasol from Bangalore or Mumbai
From Bangalore, you are having two options to reach Kasol. The first one is definitely through air. You can get there through a flight till Chandigarh or Kulu and then get a cab till Kasol. The train route will take around 42 hours, where you will have to take a cab, after reaching Jaisinghpur.
From Mumbai, there is no direct train route to Kasol. You can go for break journey, but the time you will have to invest will be more than 2 days. However, it is better to reach Kulu through flight and go to Kasol by taking a cab or HRTC bus from there. If you take a bus, your will save a lot. Time taken will be more or less same as that of cab.
