1. Chhattisgarh Tourism to Provide More Attention to Adventurous Tourism in State
Adventurous tourism is gaining high attention of domestic and international travelers in India. Considering the importance of it in the state, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB) has decided to develop integrated adventurous tourism facilities at various parts of the state. The locations that are selected for the development of tourism in this state are Mainpat (Surguja), Sirpur (Mahasamund), Kabirchabutara (Amarkantak) and Sarodhadadar. For executing the development work, CTB has involved partnership forms, Architecture Company, and Proprietorship firms to handle the entire tasks of supervision, monitoring, quality control, technical support, and timely execution of work. Further, recreation task is also handled for Gangrel dam in Dhamtari district and Hasdeo Bango dam in Korba district.
The decision to develop these locations is in consideration to provide visitors the real feel of the ancient rich culture and beauty of the state. State will also promote various tourist spots under its ‘Swadesh Darshan’ and will provide various feasible tour packages accordingly. Thus, development of eco-ethnic tourism spots in the state with all the modern facilities for their stay, dine and transport will be the high priority. Chhattisgarh is highly preferred by tourist all through the year. Thus, these new developments would promote tourism in state.
