1. Wachan Garden Restaurant
You will find a very less number of options in which places are only offering dining without accommodation. This is also a place where you can stay along with the restaurant. This place is based in Hunder little in the interior however they have a garden full of greenery, wifi services along with it they offer Asian and Indian cuisine. The dining hall has a low dining placement just similar to the Japanese style which you would like about it. They have decent menu options in which you choose the local foods, Momo, Thukpa, Parathas, and other north Indian stuff. Overall if you are visiting Hunder and feeling hungry this is the place to watch out for. Your average billing should be around 180 per person.
2. Gyantse Restaurant
This is one of the best restaurants available in Diskit Village. You might find some small eating huts however this is probably the only proper restaurant there. It is based in the Diskit market which is primarily famous for the purchase of household items and other souvenirs which tours can buy. This is not the best modern restaurant which you might find in any of the metro cities still it has a lot to offer. Once you enter you will find the dining area and just in front of it you will find the counter where you can place your orders. The staff was courteous and polite. You can ask to prepare a dish for you in the Ladakhi style so they will do it as per your request. We recommend this place for Momos and Thukpas which are also the traditional dishes for Ladakh. They offer very good Chinese cuisine like noodles, Manchurian, and other dishes. Your average bill would be around 200 per person.
3. Rangyul Guest House
This is one of the very basic restaurant based in Turtuk village. This village is famous for its apricot trees, multiple dialects and it is a small village quite near to the Indo-Pak border. This is the best eating joint offering value for money. The owner of the restaurant is quite polite and they have a small seating arrangement once you enter the cafe. The restaurant is mainly famous for the Balti dishes which are known for being spicy and high on masala. This style of cooking is prevalent in this village because of `its closeness to the Baltistan border in Pakistan. They mainly offer non-veg dishes, like chicken dishes, and other meats. You will find options for vegetarian food as well. The average cost is still on a lower end of 160 rupees approx per person.
4. The Bonfire Eat Drink And Love
You will be mesmerized by visiting this place to eat. The owner of the restaurant has used the space available exceptionally well. They have created separate huts type structures where you can sit and enjoy your food with your family and friends with no compromise on your privacy. They have a dining area on the roof as well which is truly amazing, the wooden work gives this restaurant a touch of elegance. This restaurant you can try multiple cuisines like Indian, Asian, and Fast food as well. Overall the taste of the food is awesome if you are visiting Nubra valley just check this place on your list. The average spend for this restaurant is 200 per person.
