1. Pay Rs.500 more for cancelling Air India Flight Ticket
There is slight disappointing news for Air India passengers who use its service for various domestic travels may be for business or leisure purpose. This airline service provider has upward its domestic flight ticket cancellation charges by Rs. 500. The revised charges for cancellation of tickets will be charged from this Monday, in the case of “no show” by the passenger if he is unavailable at the time of domestic flight and Rs. 2,000 will be deducted by this airline. This decision is take in considering of the revised cancellation charges by SpiceJet to Rs. 1,899 from Rs. 1,800.
Presently Air India deducts Rs. 1,500 if passenger decide not to take pre-booked flight and this amount will be raised from Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 2,000 starting from February 16, 2016. In order to provide the information of the revised charges to its customers, this airline has already spread the circular. In India, only AirAsia India charges the lowest amount of Rs. 1,502 for the domestic ticket cancellation from its passengers, rest of the domestic airlines charges high rates and is considering to revise their cancellation charges.
