2. Blood Tofu

In China, blood of duck, chicken, sheep, pig and cow is used to make such dishes. This blood tofu is made from pig’s blood.

It looks like Macaroni cheese but it actually is made from the larvae of the ants that are found on the tequila tree.
5. Balut

This dish comprises of a developing duck embryo, boiled alive and eaten in the shell itself.
6. Century Eggs

These eggs are either of ducks, chicken or quail. They are preserved in a mixture of clay, ash, quicklime and salt. They are kept this way for a long duration of time, sometimes even for months and are served only on special occasions in China.
7. Kiviak

This absolutely weird dish is made up of auk birds which are left to ferment in a seal’s skin. They are left in there for a long time and eaten during the winter.

8. Bat soup

Made from fruit bats, this soup is popular in West Africa, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Guam. It just tastes like chicken; however, one cannot imagine a bat floating in soup.

9. Sannakji

Sannakji is a dish in which a small, still alive octopus is served to you, directly to be swallowed while it is still moving in your plate! For those who cannot swallow it whole can get it cut into tiny pieces and eat it while it is still alive. The octopus is tied together and served.
10. Rujak Cingur

Rujak Cingur, according to the locals of Indonesia is a delicious dish which has fruits, cow lips, shrimp sauce, peanuts and vegetables. Slices of the cow lips are cooked finely and added to the recipe.
11. Escargot

Served as a popular appetizer in France, Escargot is made of cooked land snails. It is high in proteins and low in fats. The land snails may or may not be out of their shells when they are cooked.
12. Brain Sandwich

Looks like a regular chicken sandwich but actually has a filling of calves’ brain.
13. Virgin Boy Wee Eggs

This is by far is the ickiest dish to be ever made. These wee eggs are boiled in the urine of prepubescent boys. This is done in every spring by collecting urine from young boys in China and these eggs are boiled in it. What more, they are priced at twice the price of a normal egg!

14. Shirako

This dish is made from the seminal fluid of fish. It may also contain fish genitalia.
15. Tuna Eyeball

Tuna eyeballs taste just like boiled eggs. Just boil them and season them.
