Its name is German for ‘little lion’. It has a beautiful mane and is very agile. It is very cute and is mostly given the ‘lion-trim’ to make it look like one.

8. Pharaoh Hound

The Pharaoh Hound is strong and fiercely fast yet very graceful. It is eager to please so it makes an excellent hunting dog, companion and lure coursing dog. A Pharaoh hound’s blush is very famous, its nose and ears turn red when it gets very excited or happy.
9. Saluki

This dog looks very thin and graceful but is equally strong. It is a great hunter, lure courser and show dog.
10. Irish Wolfhound

These are the tallest of dogs and are very athletic, with great endurance. They are gentle dogs but turn into fiercely protective dogs when provoked.
