About Zamora
Zamora is a city in Castile and Leon, Spain, the capital of the region of Zamora. It lies on a rough slope in the northwest, close to the outskirts with Portugal and crossed by the Duero waterway, which is somewhere in the range of 50 kilometers downstream as it achieves the Portuguese fringe. Zamora is the city with the most Romanesque houses of worship in all of Europe. The most vital festival in Zamora is the Holy Week.

- Palacio de los Condes de Alba y Aliste, worked in 1459 by the principal Count of Alva y Aliste. It flaunts a porch and staircase enhanced with carvings by craftsmen from Lombardy.
- Calle Balborraz.
- Church of San Pedro y San Ildefonso, worked from the11th century, most likely over a Visigothic sanctuary.
- Church of Santa Maria Magdalena. The southern facade is in Romanesque style, going back to the 13th century.
- Church of San Isidoro. It has one nave, having a square real sanctuary. The outside highlights two ogival arcades with archivolts.
