Vigo

Vigo is a city and region in the region of Pontevedra, in Galicia, northwest Spain on the Atlantic Ocean. It is the capital of the comarca of Vigo and Vigo metropolitan region.

Vigo is the most crowded region of Galicia, and the fourteenth in Spain. It is likewise the most crowded Spanish region that isn't the capital of a region. Vigo Bay is one of the settings for Jules Verne's novel Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea.
