Toro

Toro is a metropolis and municipality in the province of Zamora, a part of the self reliant community of Castile and Leon, Spain. It is placed on a fertile excessive simple, northwest of Madrid at an elevation of 740 metres. Toro is referred to as a middle of Mudejar art and as a wine-generating place. It is located on the Duero River roughly midway among Zamora, the provincial capital and Tordesillas in the province of Valladolid. The 4-lane parkway A-11 now connects those cities and passes just north of Toro. Highway N122 passes thru the town.

The distance to Madrid by motorway is 220 km. Distances to other towns are: 32 km to Zamora, sixty two km to Valladolid and 72 km to Salamanca. Toro is an ancient metropolis, probably the Arbukala of the Vaccai tribe which became conquered via Hannibal in 220 BC however survived to trouble the Romans.
