Talavera de la Reina is a city and district in the western piece of the region of Toledo, which thus is a piece of the self-ruling network of Castileb La Mancha, Spain. It is the second biggest populace focus in Castile La Mancha. Its populace of 83,303 makes it the fourth biggest town in the area of Castilla la Mancha, after Albacete, Guadalajara and Toledo.
The city is settled along the waterway Tagus at a wide bank. There are two islands in the focal point of the city called Isla Grande and Chamelo Island. The city is encompassed by two scopes of mountains, in the north the Sierra de San Vicente, and in the south Montes de Toledo. The city is separated in two by the stream Tagus.
