About Segovia Cathedral
Segovia Cathedral is the Gothic-style Roman Catholic house of God situated in the principle square Plaza Mayor of the city of Segovia, in the network of Castile-Leon, Spain. The congregation, committed to the Virgin Mary, was worked in a Gothic style in the mid-16th century. The building's structure highlights three tall vaults and a mobile, with fine tracery windows and various recolored glass windows. The inside is portrayed by solidarity of style late Gothic, with the exception of the vault, worked around 1630 by Pedro de Brizuela.
The ringer tower comes to just about 90 meters. The current stone tower delegated the pinnacle, dating from 1614, was raised after a noteworthy fire caused by a tempest. The first tower, totally Gothic, was worked of American mahogany, had a pyramidal structure, and was the tallest pinnacle in Spain. The house of prayer historical center has works by Pedro Berruguete, Sanchez Coello and Van Orley, and the church building chronicles have one of the first printed books distributed in Spain, the Sinodal de Aguilafuente.
