About San Pablo

San Pablo is a congregation in Zaragoza, Spain. Its unique Gothic-Mudejar building dates to the late 13th - mid 14th century; later it was amplified and changed a few times. The first 14th century structure had a solitary nave with four coves with vaults and flying supports, with sanctuaries, finishing with a transept and a pentagonal apse. In 1343, a Mudejar tower was included, initially close to the passageway, however now encased in the fundamental body of the building. In the 15th century, two paths were constructed.

Afterward, until the 18th century, a few houses of prayer were opened on the correct side, the front and the back of the congregation. The Gothic entry has a differed sculptural embellishment, including pictures of Saint Peter and Saint Paul on the pillars, and of Christ situated between the Virgin, Saint John and Saint Blaise on the tympanum. The pinnacle has an octagonal arrangement, and, similar to the congregation, is made in brickwork, some portion of which are brightened. The lower segment isn't noticeable from the outside, as it is right now inserted inside the congregation: it has an Arab-style frieze. The upper floors have Mudejar-style enrichments, mullioned windows and little arcades. At the best is a pyramidal tower.
