About Royal Palace of La Almudaina
The Royal Palace of La Almudaina, Spanish Palacio Real de La Almudaina, is the AlcAzar of Palma. In La Almudaina, the rulers of the Kingdom of Majorca, the Aragonese rulers and Spanish rulers had their court progressively. Philip II of Spain foreordained the "Tinell" to Real Audiencia and introduced in whatever is left of the building the General Captaincy of the Islands. The current chateau, of Roman birthplace, is an adjustment of the Muslim alcazar started in 1281, it kept going until 1343, amid the rules of James II of Majorca, child of James I of Aragon, Sancho of Majorca and James III of Majorca.
La Almudaina was the seat of the prosperous Majorcan kingdom of 14th century, amid the rules of the previously mentioned ruler and his successors Sancho of Majorca and James III of Majorca, until going to the Crown of Aragon with Peter IV in 1349. Amid the primary portion of 16th century the upper floor was worked by request of the ruler Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor. Similarly as in Madrid the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, is the official summer living arrangement of the King, despite the fact that it adequately lives respectively with whatever remains of the Spanish Royal Family in the Palau de Marivent, as in Madrid with the Palacio de la Zarzuela.
