Ponteareas

Ponteareas is town and district in the area of Pontevedra, in Spain. It is situated on the Vigo-Benavente expressway and on the waterway Tea, a right-hand tributary of the Mino. It is the central town of a rich bumpy locale, which produces wine, grain and organic product, and contains numerous steers ranches. The businesses of the town itself are porcelain produces, tanning and refining. Close by are the remains of the Sobroso Castle, which had an imperative influence in the medieval common wars.

While it is situated in the adjacent town, Mondariz, it is possessed by the chamber of Ponteareas. The manor is situated in Vilasobroso, a town in the district of Mondariz, having a place with the comarca of O Condado. It sits on Landin Hill, neglecting the Condado valley, straight up to the Portuguese outskirt. Because of its key position, the mansion was known as "the key of the Kingdom of Galicia".

The religious celebration of Corpus Christi is especially critical. Going back to 1857, it is customarily celebrated with a parade of the Holy Sacrament along botanical floor coverings laid in the lanes. In 1968 the celebration was announced a celebration of Tourist Interest, in 1980 of National Tourist Interest, and in 2009 of International Tourist Interest, joining different well known Spanish festivals, for example, Fallas and the Tomatina.
