Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia

Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia is a musical show house and social focus in Valencia, Spain.

It opened on 8 October 2005; its first musical show arranging was of Beethoven's Fidelio on 25 October 2006.

Tenor and conductor Plácido Domingo has kept up an uncommon association with the Palau since its establishing and has built up a youthful artists preparing program there.

Ruler Sofía Palace of the Arts is the last structure worked of a fabulous City of Arts and Sciences idea planned by the Valencia-conceived and universally known engineer Santiago Calatrava, which started in 1995.

The building was developed by a joint wander of Dragados and Necso and it was opened on 8 October 2005.

The building raises 14 stories over the ground and incorporates three stories subterranean.

Its stature is 75 meters, being the tallest musical drama house in the world. Under the metallic, sweeping bended rooftop structure, 230 m long, the 40,000 m2 building contains four theaters.
