About Palacio Consistoria
The Palacio Consistorial is without question a standout amongst the most excellent structures of Cartagena. Demonstrating a diverse engineering by one means or another affected by French outline, it was worked in the vicinity of 1900 and 1907 by the designers Tomás Rico and Francisco de Paula upon an antiquated working of the eighteenth century. It was introduced in 1907. The development materials utilized were Marble from Macael celebrated quarry in Almeria and stone from Villalba, iron and zinc. The primary façade neglects La Plaza del Ayuntamiento the Town Hall Square and emerges for its colonnade and its vault which overhangs over the Assembly Hall. Access into the building is made through the colonnade, where the lobby and the stairs are featured. The lunettes and recolored glass windows which improve the excellence of the arcade originate from La Salvadora establishment from Cartagena.
