About La Caleta
La Caleta is a seaside placed in the ancient middle of the town of Cadiz, Spain. It is a herbal harbor by means of which Phoenicians, Carthaginians and Romans penetrated traditionally. It is the smallest seaside within the town, and is isolated from the others. Its essential appeal is its location, a scene that has stimulated musicians and poets like Isaac Albeniz, Jose Maria Peman, Paco Alba, and Carlos Cano.
It runs in among the castles of San Sebastian and Santa Catalina and in the front of the school of Economic and Enterprise Sciences of the Campus of Cadiz of the university of the equal name. It has been pictured in several movies, which includes 007: Die Another Day, Alatriste and Manolete. Natives of Cadiz recall it one of the maximum emblematic places of their city, and use it as a recurrent song problem at some point of Carnival. Los Carnavales de Cadiz is one of the first-rate-acknowledged carnivals in Spain. Its main feature is humor.
