About Co-Cathedral of Santa Maria

The congregation of Santa María in Vigo's old town is the city's most well known place of love and is known as 'La Colegiata'.

It is committed to the picture of Cristo de la Victoria. It goes back initially to the middle Ages, in spite of the fact that it was wrecked and modified in the nineteenth century, and this is the development unmistakable today.

The foundation was set in 1816, and the works were not finished until 1836.

The congregation has three barrel vaulted naves. The side naves are tight while the focal nave is wide.

The naves are isolated by twelve Doric segments.

Vigo Cathedral is a Spanish church building. It is co-church building with Tui Cathedral.

The first church was remade in neo-traditional style subsequent to being torched by Francis Drake's troopers in 1585.
