About Cathedral of Avila
The Cathedral of Avila is a Catholic church in Avila, Spain. It is in the Romanesque and Gothic compositional conventions. It was arranged as a house of prayer post, its apse being one of the turrets of the city dividers. It is encompassed by various houses or royal residences, the most imperative being: the Palace of the Evening, the Palace of the Infant King, and the Palace of Valderrabanos, which were in charge of the safeguard of the Puerta de los Leales otherwise called La Puerta del Peso de la Harina.
