Benicarlo

Benicarlo is a city and district in the north of the region of Castello, some portion of the Valencian Community, in the Mediterranean Coast between the urban communities of Vinaros and Peniscola, not very far south from the Ebre River. The travel industry, farming and some assembling are the real enterprises. Benicarlo is a piece of the Taula del Senia free relationship of districts.

Benicarlo is served by a train station in the Valencia-Barcelona line, and is associated by street through the A7 Highway. The Taula del Senia or Mancomunitat de la Taula del Senia is a republic or free relationship of districts made up of 22 towns, totalling up to 100,000 individuals, of a portion of the comarcas that make up the focal point of the authentic locale of Ilercavonia, Spain. The birthplace of the name lies in the way that every single metropolitan term included are situated inside 15 km of the Senia River, saw as the focal point of the district in its upper course.

Primary sights:

• Sanctuary of Cristo del Mar.
• Ward church of Sant Bartolomeu. It has a Baroque facade, an octagonal chime tower and an arch over the transept. The inside, on a solitary nave, houses an altarpiece ascribed to Vicente Juan Masip.
