About Arab Baths
The Arab Baths in Ceuta are medium size medieval open showers on the northern edges of the Medina quarter. This is thought to have been involved since the 11th century. Archeological examinations in 2000 and 2004 have demonstrated that the showers had one space for garments and toilets pursued by a cool shower and after that a hot shower in a style set somewhere near the Romans. Different rooms may have existed. The most punctual occupation on this site in the northern rural areas of Ceuta's Medina quarter date from the 11th century when remains have been found of a road and local development.
