Yudal Mountain
About Yudal Mountain
Yudal Mountain is a mountain positioned in Mokpo town, Jeollanam-do in South Korea. It is one of the "8 Scenes of Mokpo" and is a symbol of the city. At the summit, hundreds of islands may be visible with numerous hills of weird searching rocks. The nickname of the mountain is Mountain Gaegol, which refers to Mountain Geumgang in North Korea at some stage in the summer. The 3 maximum peaks are referred to as first, 2nd and madang bawi monuments are observed on or close to the mountain; the primary is a statue of General Yi Sun-sin, the opposite is of a well-known singer Lee Nan-younger.
The city has initiated a task known as "metropolis of mild," in which nightlights are located around its plant life. This has been criticized for developing extra light pollutants. An environmental affiliation in Gwangju and Jeollanamdo selected this incident as the 10th worst assault at the surroundings in 2006. Yudal Mt. Flower competition is held yearly in April or May. The spectacle may be seen when mountaineering to the summit to appearance over Dadohaehaesang National Park with masses of islands inside the view.
