The Manjanggul Lava Tube is situated in Gimnyeong-ri, Gujwaeup, Jeju City. At up to 23m wide, 30m high and 8.928km long, it is the twelfth longest magma tube in the world and the second longest on Jeju island. It is viewed as having huge logical and legacy esteem, inferable from its fantastic state of safeguarding in spite of its time of arrangement. Lava stalactites and magma stalagmites, magma segments, magma flowstone, magma helictites, magma rankles, buckle coral, seats, magma pontoons, magma spans, magma racks, scored magma striations, and ropy magma are very much protected. Among them, a magma section of 7.6 m is the biggest known on the planet.
There are three doors and No. 2 traveling southward is available to the public. Entrance No. 3 contains the most great territories for surrender life and between Entrances 1 and 2, there is a lower level fundamental tube where a large portion of the living animals can be found. In the Geomunoreum Lava Tube System, the Manjanggul Lava Tube has the best number of living animals, including the Jeju buckle creepy crawly. In the upper piece of Entrance 2, there are no less than 30,000 normal bowed wing bats framing the biggest province of bats affirmed to live in Korea up until now.
