About Gwangju National Museum
Gwangju National Museum was set up to advance improvement of social expressions and to cultivate patriotism. The exhibition hall's development started in 1977 and was available to open on December 6, 1978. Gwangju National Museum plans to save social qualities through gathering and conservation of verifiable and important ancient rarities found in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do districts while influencing commitments to the network through constant to research, display, and training.
Enlivened by conventional Korean engineering, Gwangju National Museum is a six story working with two stories over the ground and four cellar floors. The historical center comprises of open display lobbies with an aggregate territory of 3,305m². A remaking occurred in December 1996, repairing old offices and including two new presentation lobbies, the Special Exhibition Hall and the Buddhist Art Exhibition Hall.
Gwangju National Museum shows different recorded curios found in Jeolla district including ancient relics; fine arts identified with Buddhism and pottery from amid Baeje, brought together Silla, Goryeo, and Joseon administrations; and submerged disclosures from Sinan wreck. Visitors must visit the ticket booth to recieve comlimentary entry tickets. Free exhibitions are limited to permanant exhibitions, Children's Museum, free special exhibitions.
