Gatbawi
About Gatbawi
Gatbawi is a Buddhist statue in Daehan-ri, Wachon-myeon, Gyeongsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do, the Republic of Korea. It was made in the Unified Silla Kingdom time and is notable with the name of Gatbawi Buddha Stone Hat Buddha. It sits 4 meters 13 ft tall, and the cap is a 15-centimeter 6 in thick level stone on his head, This single stone figure was made up by Uihyeon, at the highest point of the 850-meter 2,790 ft high harsh Palgongsan and is encompassed by a screen-like shake divider as its experience. It is said that Uihyeon influenced it with a specific end goal to assuage his mom's spirit in the seventh decision year of Queen Seondeok of Silla Kingdom.
The legend of Daegu Gatbawi says that a major crane flew in to protect him consistently while he was making this Gatbawi Buddha. It is presumed to be an inexplicable Buddha stone, which makes a reaction to petitions if the supplication appeals to God for it with his or her entire heart. Back of the mountain climb trail is less demanding than from Daegu city side. Really stone lights prompt the best. At the best there's washroom, blessing shop, free feast accessible from the sanctuary, take note of that you need to complete all that you take.
