About Dora Observatory
Dora Observatory is at the South Korean aspect of the 38 parallel. Situated on top of Dorasan Mount Dora, the observatory seems throughout the Demilitarized Zone. It is the part of South Korea closest to the North. Visitors can trap an extraordinary glimpse of the reclusive North Korean kingdom through binoculars from the 304 square toes, 500 individual potential observatory.
They will be able to see the North Korean propaganda village located within the DMZ, a remnant of the vintage prosperity of the North, and may see as a ways as the metropolis of Kaesong. The observatory could be very near the Third Tunnel Third North Korean Infiltration Tunnel a large North Korean dug tunnel which was deliberate as a pathway for invasion to the South if battle had re erupted and it had now not been found. The Dorasan Station, also close by, is designed to be the station that connects the railroads of the South and North one day within the future.
