Bucheon is a town in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Bucheon is a satellite town of Seoul, 25 kilometers away. This town is located between Incheon and Seoul. Bucheon is the second maximum densely populated town in South Korea after Seoul and as a result, administrative districts have been abolished in July 2016 in choose of presenting more public carrier in community centers. Major production operations are positioned in the northern areas of the city, while the areas inside the south where Seoul Subway Line 7 and Seoul Subway Line 1 pass are dense industrial and residential areas.
In 1914, outer areas of Incheon City along with former town centre of Gwangyo-dong of old Incheon and Bupyeong County have been joined together underneath the name Bucheon. In 1931, Gyenam Township became renamed Sosa Township. In 1936, the westernmost a part of Bucheon which had been part of old Incheon which include the previous Incheon town centre of Gwangyo-dong became included in Incheon City and in 1940 a few different part of old Incheon belonging to Bucheon Country turned into included in Incheon once more while a part of vintage Bupyeong was annexed to Incheon on the identical time.
