About The Berg-en-Dal Monument
The Battle of Bergendal generally called the Battle of Belfast or Battle of Dalmanutha was the last set-piece conflict of the Second Anglo-Boer War.
It persisted from 21– 27 August 1900 and happened on the farm Bergendal Hill and Dale near the town of Belfast and the 5,000 Boers were under the request of General Louis Botha.
The 20,000 British Empire powers were driven by General Sir Redvers Buller under the general request of Lord Roberts.
There were a couple of ious clashes in the midst of the battle, yet the battle's pinnacle occurred on 27 August, when 74 men of the Johannesburg territory.
