Luton Valley Bird Sanctuary

The Luton Valley Bird Sanctuary is arranged between Luton Street, Nelmaphius Drive and John Voster Drive in Highveld in the South of Tshwane. This ensured zone framed piece of the huge homestead of Hugo Nelmaphius and turned into the property of the van der Byl family in later years. It was sold to Denel and later turn into the property of Centurion City Council which now shapes some portion of the City of Tshwane.

A little obscure tributary enters the territory from Luton Street and streams into a dam from where it streams out of the zone and cooperates with the Hennops River. The dam and encompassing vegetation gives territory to ious flying creature species, little warm blooded creatures and reptiles.
