About Secendo Lido Beach
Lido Beach is a shoreline in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu . The name "Lido" gets from the Italian word for "beach". The shoreline in northern Mogadishu was created in the late 1930s for the Italian pioneers living in the capital of Italian Somalia. In the 1950s it was completely created.
Somalia endured two many years of insurgency and battling among match warlords after the topple of President Ziad Barre in 1991. Today, many families come to unwind on Mogadishu's coastline each end of the week. Individuals remain out at Lido Beach path past nightfall to watch the excellent night horizon and the dark blue sea. This is an ideal place to get the crisp point of view of a rediscovered Somalia.
