Roman Wall

Roman Wall, which is found by the eastern town entryway of Emona, on the site of the present Trg francoske revolucije square, the Roman town dividers were worked in the vicinity of 14 and 15 AD. The rectangular-molded dividers encompassing the town focus estimated 2.4 meters wide and from 6 to 8 meters high. They included no less than 26 towers and four primary doors.

The towers were raised at approach separates along the length of the dividers and beside the town's side entryways as augmentations of Emona's streets. On all sides with the exception of the east, which was normally secured by a slant plummeting towards the Ljubljanica waterway, the town was also ensured by a twofold channel. The divider shell was worked from cut stone squares bound with mortar and loaded with an aggregate of stream rocks, little shakes, sand and lime.
