About Butchers Bridge
The Butchers' Bridge is Ljubljana's adoration connect. It is where incalculable sweethearts have emblematically locked their adoration and dropped the keys into the waterway Ljubljanica, which streams underneath. The Butchers' Bridge, worked in 2010, associates the Central Market's corridor, outlined by the designer, with the Petkovskovo nabrezje dike. It remains on the site where imagined an extension very nearly a hundred years back. Its idea is to some degree aesthetic – it is decorated with statues and models by the prestigious Slovenian stone worker Jakov Brdar.
The Butchers' Bridge involves the site amidst the previous butchers' corners and Brdar's frightening however intriguing huge statues and little models of disfigured little animals sitting on the parapet by one means or another allude to the narrative of this past. The vast statue remaining on the Petkovskovo nabrezje side of the scaffold portrays Prometheus, while the smaller than normal statues on the parapet energetically imply the movement that once went ahead in the butchers' distributing corners.
