Our Lady of Victories Cathedral

It is the name given to a religious building that fills in as the Catholic house of God in the city of Dakar, the capital of the African nation of Senegal, which is the seat of the Archdiocese of Dakar. The asylum was based on the site of an antiquated Muslim burial ground, whose land was allowed by the legislature to the congregation.

The house of God was sanctified via Cardinal Jean Verdier, ecclesiastical overseer of Paris on 2 February 1936. In 2001 in the congregation the burial service of previous President Leopold Senghor was performed. You can come and explore this place.
