Henritte Bathily Women Museum

Introduced the June 17, 1994 in Gorée, is a tribute to all ladies. Ladies from here and somewhere else, bearers of history and artists of deep rooted instruction.

In acknowledging it, the Consortium of Audiovisual Communications in Africa CCA drove by Annette Mbaye d'Erneville, upheld by an activity advisory group made out of different identities including researchers, history specialists, sociologists, adds to the foundation and the fortification of the key instruments of training, freedom, liberation, moral and logical weapon of all the Senegalese ladies on the streets of the national improvement. At first sight, the formation of a Museum of Women may appear like a pointless dream.
