Mosque of Al-Ghamama

The Mosque of Al-Ghamamah is one of the most seasoned mosques in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

These days, it is never again being utilized because of its vicinity to the Al-Masjid a Nabawi.

The mosque is one of the chronicled relics of Medina.he word `ghamam` in Arabic means mists.

This mosque has been given this name since it is where the Prophet appealed to God for precipitation after which it down-poured profusely.

This mosque was based on where Prophet Muhammad used to perform Salat Al-Eid and Salat Al-Istesqa'a for quite a while.
