Ar Rass

Ar Rass is a Saudi Arabian town, situated in the Al Qassim Province. It lies southwest of Buraydah, the capital of the area and furthermore north of Riyadh, the national capital. It is the third biggest city in Al Qassim Province by populace, with an expected populace of 133,000. It has a zone of around 60 km². Rass signifies "an old well" in Arabic, and it was made reference to in a lyric of Hassan Bin Thabit, the writer who was a sidekick of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad.

The city is administered by the Al A'ssaf family.
