About Vyborg
Vyborg is a town and the managerial focal point of, Vyborgsky District in Leningrad Oblast, Russia. It lies on the Karelian Isthmus close to the leader of the Vyborg Bay, 130 km toward the northwest of St. Petersburg and 38 km south of Russia's outskirt with Finland, where the Saimaa Canal enters the Gulf of Finland. Situated in the limit zone between the East Slavic/Russian and Finnish universes, the town has changed hands a few times ever, most as of late in 1944 when the Soviet Union caught it from Finland amid World War II.
The city has the Russian end of the 1,222 km Nord Stream gas pipeline, laid in 2011 and worked by a consortium driven by Russia's Gazprom state hydrocarbons undertaking to siphon 55 billion cubic meters 1.9 trillion cubic feet of flammable gas a year under the Baltic to Greifswald, Germany. You can come here with your family members and friends to visit this place.
