About Verkhoturye
Verkhoturye is a recorded town and the regulatory focus of Verkhotursky District of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, situated in the center Ural Mountains on the left bank of the Tura River 306 kilometers north of Yekaterinburg. Verkhoturye was established in 1598 by Vasily Golovin and Ivan Voyeykov on the site of the Vogul settlement of Neromkar. There were significant flames in 1674 and 1738. The railroad touched base in 1906. It lost town status in 1926 and recovered it in 1947.
Two oil pipelines go through the territory and there are plans to assemble an oil refinery. With the Russian triumph of Siberia and the establishment of the trans-Ural Russian towns of Tyumen in 1586 and Tobolsk in 1587 the issue emerged of finding the best course to them from European Russia. Around 1580, Yermak Timofeyevich had rose the Chusovaya River south of Verkhoturye and crossed to the Barancha, a tributary of the Tagil River.
Toward the north the three intersection focuses were the Arctic Ocean, the Usa River, and the Northern Sosva River. These all associated the lower Ob River to the Pechora River and the fare port of Arkhangelsk. The courses around Verkhoturye associated Tobolsk to the Kama River tributary of the Volga and on to the Sable Treasury at Moscow. Underneath Verkhoturye there was an old train course which prompted the Ufa steppe and the Volga River. This turned out to be more essential as the Volga populace expanded, yet stayed minor since it didn't prompt either Moscow or Arkhangelsk.
