Valuyki

Valuyki is a town in Belgorod Oblast, Russia, situated at the conversion of the Valuy and Oskol Rivers, 150 kilometers or 93 mi east of Belgorod and 15 km north of Russia, Ukraine fringe. Valuyki was established in 1593 as a fortification for assurance against the Crimean and Nogai Tatarraids along the Muravsky Trail. Toward the beginning of September 2015 Reuters announced that Russia was building another armed force base 'close Valuyki, a residential community not a long way from Soloti'. Established regarding the war in Ukraine, the base was to have sleeping enclosure for 3,500 fighters.
