About The Belaya Gora
It is situated on the correct bank of the Indigirka River, roughly 20 kilometers 12 mi downstream of its conjunction with its tributary the Uyandina, inverse of the selo of Suturuokha. Belaya Gora is a urban area a urban-type settlement and the authoritative focus of Abyysky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its populace was 2,245.
It was established in 1974 as the managerial focal point of Abyysky District, to supplant the past settlement of Druzhina, which was found 50 kilometers 31 mi upstream on the Indigirka and was regularly subject to flooding. It was allowed urban-type settlement status in 1975.
