About Shenkursk
Shenkursk is a city and the place of business of Shenkursky District in Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia, positioned on the proper bank of the Vaga River. Shenkursk become first mentioned in files of Novgorod merchants in 1229. In 1315, it was sold by way of a Novgorod posadnik.
