Severouralsk

Severouralsk is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, situated on the Vagran River at its intersection with the Kolonga River, 512 kilometers north of Yekaterinburg, the managerial focal point of the oblast. As of the 2010 Census, its populace was 29,263. It was established in 1758 because of the development of a solid metal and copper-purifying factory. In 1931, the Soviets found an expansive store of bauxites in the territory, trailed by revelation of different stores.

Severouralsk was conceded town status in 1944 after various encompassing settlements had been incorporated into it. Inside the system of the managerial divisions, it is, as one with eight rustic territories, consolidated as the Town of Severouralsk, is a regulatory unit with the status equivalent to that of the districts.
