About Puchezh
Puchezh is a port town and the managerial focal point of Puchezhsky District in Ivanovo Oblast, Russia, situated on the west side of the Volga River, 175 kilometers east of Ivanovo, the regulatory focus of the oblast. It was first specified as Puchishche sloboda in 1594. In the 19th century, it turned into a middle for the grain business and the flax exchange. In 1862, a noteworthy string delivering plant was established. Close-by Ivanovo's weaving industry was benefited from Puchezh's flax exchange and a substantial number of female specialists would move there looking for employment. In 1952, Gorky Reservoir overflowed, putting the town in peril.
For the following three years, the town gradually evacuated itself, was conveyed to a higher area, and was rebuilt. Within the structure of managerial divisions, Puchezh fills in as the regulatory focus of Puchezhsky District, to which it is straightforwardly subordinated. Prior to the appropriation of the Law 145-OZ on the Administrative-Territorial Division of Ivanovo Oblast in December 2010, it used to be fused independently as an authoritative unit with the status equivalent to that of the districts. As a city division, the town of Puchezh is fused inside Puchezhsky Municipal District as Puchezhskoye Urban Settlement.
