Pokrov

Pokrov is a town in Petushinsky District of Vladimir Oblast, Russia, found 5 kilometers toward the north of the left bank of the Klyazma River Oka's tributary, 82 kilometers west of Vladimir, the managerial focal point of the oblast, and 100 kilometers east of Moscow. The Klyazma River is a waterway in the Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo and Vladimir Oblasts in Russia, a left tributary of the Oka River. Inside the system of regulatory divisions, Pokrov is specifically subordinated to Petushinsky District.

As a city division, the town of Pokrov is fused inside Petushinsky Municipal District as Pokrov Urban Settlement. Pokrov has ideal monetary and topographical position between the major local focuses of the European piece of Russia. The town is home to a Mondelez International chocolate industrial facility, and in 2009 the organization charged what is accepted to be the world's first Monument to Chocolate here.
