About Miass
Miass is a city in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia, found 96 kilometers west of Chelyabinsk, on the eastern incline of the Southern Ural Mountains, on the bank of the Miass River. Town status was conceded to Miass in 1923. In 1941, a car processing plant was built. The old piece of the city includes nineteenth century wooden houses with unique overhangs, frames, and lintels. The place of the gold mine's manager, Simonov, has likewise been preserved. Lake Turgoyak is situated close Miass and is a prominent visitor area, with completely clear water. Miass has a rich mineralogical historical center, as it is near the Ilmensky Mineral preservation area. To the East of Miass is the Ilmenskyy Zapovednik, an expansive secured woods. Not far into the woods, trails prompt new water springs.
