Maksatikha

Maksatikha is an urban-kind agreement and the place of job of Maksatikhinsky District of Tver Oblast, Russia. It is placed on the left bank of the Mologa River close to the mouth of the Volchina River. Maksatikha was first stated in 1545. In the route of the administrative reform done in 1708 through Peter the Great, it became covered into Ingermanland Governorate known considering the fact that 1710 as Saint Petersburg Governorate, however in 1727 it was transferred to Moscow Governorate. In 1775, Tver Viceroyalty became shaped, and Maksatikha was transferred to Tver Viceroyalty.

In 1796, Tver Viceroyalty became transformed into Tver Governorate. Maksatikha belonged to Bezhetsky Uyezd. Since 1924, Maksatikha changed into the middle of Maksatikha Volost of Bezhetsky Uyezd of Tver Governorate, and in 1928, it become granted urban-kind settlement reputation. On July 12, 1929 the governorates and uyezds were abolished. Maksatikhinsky District, with the workplace in Maksatikha, turned into mounted within Bezhetsk Okrug of Moscow Oblast. On July 23, 1930, the okrugs have been abolished, and the districts have been immediately subordinated to the oblast.

On January 29, 1935 Kalinin Oblast become set up, and Maksatikhinsky District became transferred to Kalinin Oblast. On July 9, 1937 Maksatikhinsky District became protected into Karelian National Okrug, which changed into established as a Tver Karelians autonomy. On February 7, 1939 the okrug turned into abolished. In 1990, Kalinin Oblast changed into renamed Tver Oblast Maksatikha railway station is located at the railway connecting Rybinsk and Bologoye through Bezhetsk.
