About Lake Ilirney
Lake Ilirney is a gathering of two pools of Bilibinsky District, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Russia. Lake Tytyl lies 33 km toward the east. The lakes are situated in the upper scopes of the Maly Anyuy River, 20 km from Ilirney town. Their name started in the Chukchi word Eler-nei, signifying "rough island", after the island situated amidst the northern lake Verkhniy Ilirneygytgyn. River Ilirneyveyem streams toward its east. Archeological stays of the Neolithic have been found on the shores of the lake. Southern Ilirney is a marginally bigger lake found 8.5 km toward the southwest of the northern lake.
Waterway Ilirneyveyem streams all through Southern Ilirney. The Maly Anyuy River or Maly Anyui River is a correct tributary of the Kolyma River in the Russian Far East. It streams generally westwards, going through western Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Soon after intersection into the Sakha Republic, it meets the Bolshoy Anyui River, converging with it into a solitary channel Anyuy River appropriate around 20 kilometers 12 mi before meeting the Kolyma near its delta.
