About Kyshtym
Kyshtym is a town in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia, situated on the eastern inclines of the Southern Ural Mountains 90 kilometers northwest of Chelyabinsk, close to the town of Ozyorsk. Kyshtym was set up by the Demidovs in 1757 around two industrial facilities for creation of solid metal and steel. The city token demonstrates the Kyshtym Manor House, a Palladian home of Nikita Demidov Jr.
As indicated by Herbert Hoover, a little iron industry had existed there "for one hundred and fifty years", which created a mystery procedure for producing sheet press "curiously impervious to rust."
